USB (Universal Serial Bus) was designed to allow up to 127 peripherals to be connected using a single standardised interface socket. Plug and play capability of USB allows devices to be connected and disconnected without rebooting the computer (hot swapping ). Most new computers no longer have Serial, PS/2 or Parallel ports, however we carry adapters to convert USB port to serial, parallel, PS/2 and SATA (Serial ATA ). Powering low consumption devices without the need for an external power supply and allowing some devices to be used without requiring individual devices driver to be installed are other benefits of USB interface.
